12/19/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Electric does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: Electric does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: Electric remains motionless Reaction to touch: Electric seems indifferent to my presence and touch at first but eventually leans in for petting. Try picking cat up: Electric is tolerant of this type of handling but tense. Behavior Determination: Experience At the time of the assessment Electric was displaying fearful behavior. She did not seek attention from the assessor and remains motionless when the kennel was open. After a steady slow approach using soft voices she relaxed a little and I was able to pet her and interact with her. I was also able to pick her up and although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
