EDGAR – A1060911
Urgent 12-30-2015 Manhattan
**GONE 12/30/15** NEW HOPE RESCUE is needed for EDGAR tonight! This frazzled kitten was brought into the shelter with another cat, when their former owner became too ill to continue to care for them. One look at his face and it’s fairly clear that this boy means well, but is just undone by the horrifying circumstances that have swept him into the shelter. EDGAR needs some time to mellow out in a loving foster/adoptive home, and then his true personality should shine through. Please help him get that happy ending by sharing him everywhere, by pledging on his thread, and by working with a NEW HOPE RESCUE if YOU are the person who can take him home, tonight!
My name is EDGAR. My Animal ID # is A1060911.
I am a male white and orange domestic sh mix. The shelter thinks I am about 7 MONTHS old.
I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 12/18/2015 from NY 10462, owner surrender reason stated was OWNER SICK. I came in with Group/Litter #K15-042933.

Reaction to door opening: Edgar remains crouched position at the back of the cage, alert with eyes wide open and ears down. Reaction to touch: Edgar avoids contact, hisses and growls at the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: NH ONLY Edgar is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room.
