***SAFE 08/27/15***DARLING DORINDA NEEDS YOU—BE HER RESCUE ANGEL! A volunteer writes, “What a sweetheart. Gentle little soul who loves company. Come and pay her a visit. She would love to spend some time with you. Scratch her ears and under her chin and make her feel special. Everyone likes to feel special at times and Dorinda is no different. She would love to be part of a happy forever home. Make her day special.” Darling Dorinda is just two years old and has been at the shelter for the past month. She was found in a basement of an apartment building. Her finders thought they were doing her a favor by dumping her at the shelter. With her loving disposition, it is obvious she was once someone’s beloved pet. She got an awesome pawesome behavior rating and is purrffectly healthy. If it makes you angry that the ACC euthanizes healthy and highly adoptable pets, here’s your chance to BE THE SOMEBODY in “somebody do something.” Please reserve Dorinda online or contact a NH rescue for help with transportation (available if you live within a few hours of NYC). This precious pet’s life is worth saving. But she only has tonight. We are her only hope. Please don’t let darling Dorinda down!!!

07/27/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
07/27/15 10:23 Dorinda A1045511 is a young female black DSH feline who was found living in the finder’s basement. They don’t want Dorinda living down there to stay so they decided to bring her in. They stated Dorinda was friendly and allowed them to pick her up and place her into a carrier. During intake Dorinda appeared fearful/nervous and retreated when I attempted to transfer her from the carrier to the kennel. After a few minutes she walked out of the carrier on her own and allowed me to scan (-), collar her and take her pictures.
