***SAFE 10/30/15*** DOMINO has hardly had time to live yet, at all of 10 months old. And here she is in the ACC facing possible DEATH! This black and white girl was brought in as a STRAY and had a URI which can easily be remedied with antibiotics. She’s also earned herself a GREAT AVERAGE rating! PLEASE offer to FOSTER or ADOPT this loving baby. If you push one DOMINO they all will fall, but pick one up and none need to fall!

I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 10/18/2015 from NY 11422, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

10/18/15 11:55 Domino was lying in the carrier with a soft body and kneeding the carrier door. When the door was opened she peaked her head out and nuzzled the couneslor’s hand. She would nuzzled and then retreat back in the carrier. She would not walk out of the carrier alone. She did allow the couneslor to pick her up and take her out of the carrier. When on the ccounter she was pet and she lifted her back end and solicted more attention. She was easy to collar. When she the carrier was placed on the counter, she walked into the carrier on her own.

Reaction to assessor: Domino does not come to front but looks at you calmly. When spoken quietly: Domino comes to the front of cage and soliciting attention. Reaction to door cage opening: Domino remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Domino solicits petting and attention. She also head butts. Try picking cat up: Domino becomes nervous while being held and will struggle to be placed down. Behavior Determination: Average At the time of the assessment Domino was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention and tolerates all petting. Domino is displaying behavior appropriate for a new cat owner.
