The NEUTERED guy came in with mats and urine clumped on his fur, obese and with a fractured tooth! It has further been discovered that Denzil has some muscle wasting most likely from not exercising enough….DENZIL is a real senior gem and would love to cuddle with you in a new “forever” home!! He does not know when was his last vet visit and he has no known health issues. Socialization Denzil is friendly and outgoing with strangers. He is great with children. He has not been around dogs. He was living with another cat in the home who he did not get along with too much. Due to his old age, the other cat would play too much with him and he would become overwhelmed and stressed. In his previous home, he was the only pet. He has not bitten anyone or any other animal. Behavior Denzil is litter box trained. He did have a Uti but the owner says that it went away. He does like baths but he has not had one in a while. He has matts on his back because Denzil can not reach there to groom himself. He sleeps anywhere in the house and likes to sleep in the bed with the owner. He likes to play but will become stressed and overwhelmed when playing with the other cat in the home. He was being fed friskies wet and dry food. He used an open litterbox with clay litter. Behavior during intake Denzil was calm and relaxed in his carrier. He allowed to be scanned (-) and collared. He allowed to be placed on the backdrop for photographs. I carried him and placed him inside of a kennel. He tolerated all petting. He was friendly and headbutted my hand.
