*** SAFE 09/10/15 *** BONDED MOM & DAUGHTER, MENA and DENA, WOULD LIKE TO LIVE TOGETHER…..MENA and DENA came from a home with older children and other cats and they all got along fine….Now because of their owner’s personal issues, MENA & DENA find themselves abandoned at the ACC. THESE ARE TWO VERY SWEET YOUNG LADIES WHO DESERVE A HAPPY LIFE….not what the ACC has in store for them for tomorrow. 09/05/15 15:55 Basic Information: Dena is a 2 month old unaltered female domestic shorthair. Dena was bred at home owner stated. Owner surrenders Dena due to living situations. Social Life and Personality: Dena lived with adults and been around children ages 10 and 15 years old. Owner stated Dena is relaxed, respectful and tolerant towards everyone in the household. Dena lived with Mother Mean A1050480. Owner stated Dena is bonded with Mena and is playful and affectionate but never been around dogs. She is indoors only and activity level is high. Owner describes Dena as playful with Mena and independent. Behavior Issues: Dena never bitten or scratched anyone owner stated. She was never given a bath or nail trim. She enjoys being picked up and held only if it’s by the owner. For a New Family to Know: Dena is litter box trained and uses an uncovered litter box. She likes to play with strings or anything that rolls. Dena use to have a scratching post made out of carpet she loved to scratch on. She likes to follow owner around the house especially when hungry. Dena ate dry food called Meow mix. Intake Behavior: Upon intake Dena was calm and relaxed. She scanned negative for a microchip and allowed all handling.

The previous owner stated Dena is relaxed, respectful and tolerant towards everyone in the household. Dena lived with her mother. Dena behavior towards dogs remains unknown. She is indoors only and activity level is high. Notes: At the time of the assessment Dena was displaying playful behavior, comes to the front of the kennel , interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, and tolerates all petting. Dena is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
