08/16/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: felicia was calm and relaxed upon approach. She looks at the assessor and then looks around when softly spoken to. Reaction to cage door opening: felicia remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: felicia was hesitant of touch and shifts away. She allows petting on her head and back, but she watches the assessor’s hand and lowers her body each time the assessor pets her. Her tail remains tucked closely against her body throughout the interaction. Behavior Determination: Experience Felicia tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
