06/15/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Curry was calm and relaxed in cage, and blinks at the assessor upon approach. When softly spoken to, he looks up at the assessor and lip licks. Reaction to cage door opening: Curry remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Curry meows and was hesitant of touch. He allows petting on his head, but he closes his eyes and his ears bend sideways. When touched on his back, he hisses and swats at the assessor’s hand, and moves away to avoid being touched. Behavior Determination: NH ONLY Curry is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and/or may require further investigation before placement in a home. He has tried to swat, scratch, and does not currently tolerate all petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
