05/10/15 14:27 Basic Information Cleo is a 5 year old female cat. Her previous own had Cleo’s mother too. According to her former owner, Cleo is pretty independent but she loves to play fetch. Social Life Cleo is very good around kids of almost any age. She is great around other cats and even the right dog she does not like to be held. Cleo is great with the litter box. She likes to stay inside the house. Mello yet confident is the best way to describe her. Behavior Cleo is generally well behaved. She reacts negatively to being picked up. She is very good with her litter box and she is used to clumping litter. Cleo is okay with having her nails trimmed as long as it is done fast. For a new Family to Know She loves to play fetch too. A carpet scratching post would be best for her. When her owner is home, Cleo is rarely seeking attention except for play time. She likes to sleep on her owner’s bed if allowed. She doesn’t eat a lot but she will eat both wet and dry food.

05/13/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Cleo looks tense in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Cleo remains sitting upright on her cage bedding, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Cleo accepts the stroke, but began to grumble during the touch and lip lick in place. Placement determination: Experience / no child Cleo tolerates attention and petting but may be stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
