CHASE – A1048978
***GONE 08/29/15***CHASE was a stray cat who was brought into the shelter with a trap. This gray and white girl is around 3 years old and is fearful but tolerates some petting. CHASE has the potential to warm up to a new home, but she needs time and a little TLC. She doesn’t have time though, since today may be her last day to live! She needs an experienced cat home with no children. She is afraid and just needs someone with a big heart to come to her rescue!! Won’t you give sweet CHASE a chance? Please foster or adopt this little sweetie. You’ll be so glad you did!!

08/27/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Chase was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Attempts to flee as I started to get closer. I was able to pet her and interact with her in a very limited way. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children. Reaction to assessor: at back of cage, watching assessor When spoken quietly: at back of cage, watching assessor Reaction to door cage opening: attempts to flee Reaction to touch: allows very limited petting ,moves away from me, tries to flee cage Try picking cat up: not tolerant of this type of handling, very afraid, tries to flee.
