CATANO – A1048298
***GONE 08/25/15*** SEVEN HOUSEMATES WHO LANDED IN THE ACC WHEN THEIR OWNER WAS EVICTED WILL NOW ALL BE KILLED BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO HOME! MAMBO, SALSA, BACHATA, COOL WHIP, NAE NAE, TAPP AND CATANO are all about 2 years old and housemates. They actually may be siblings. Their owner was evicted and they ended up in the ACC along with VALENTINE and BLUE EYES who were already previously listed. NONE OF THESE CATS HAVE THE SHELTER COLD!! They are healthy or have minor non-contageous issues. All of them, however, are afraid and nervous in the shelter and received EXPNOCHILD ratings for their fear. ALL of them were HOUSE PETS so we know that this fear has only been generated by being abandoned at the ACC. LET’S NOT STAND BY AND WATCH THEM BECOME MORE ACC STATISTICS TONIGHT – CONTACT A RESCUE NOW TO PULL ONE, TWO OR MAYBE ALL OF THEM TO SAFETY NOW!! THEY DESERVE A CHANCE TO HAVE NEW HOMES AND A HAPPY ENDING TO THEIR STORY.

08/22/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Catano looks tense in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Catano remains crouched down on his cage bedding, alert with direct stare. Reaction to touch: Catano accepts the stroke, but slowly retreats away from the assessor’s hand and began to yowl in place. Placement determination: Experience / no child Catano tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
