***SAFE 08/25/15*** Brazil is a 4 month old kitten that was surrendered to the ACC because her owner couldn’t keep her anymore. Brazil is getting a little fearful at the shelter. Brazil tolerated petting and attention and would make a great addition to your family if given the chance. Please make sure this sweet kitten ends up with a happy ending by offering to foster or adopt. Time is of the essence.

08/11/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Brazil does not come to the front; she is low against the ground looking at the assessor. She continues to focus on the assessor when softly spoken to. Reaction to cage door opening: Brazil remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Brazil sniffs the assessor’s hand, accepts touch on her head and back, and lip licks. Reaction to being picked up: Brazil allows handling, but burrows her face into the assessor’s arms. Behavior Determination: Experience Brazil tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
