***SAFE 11/03/15*** BOBBLES THE 8 MONTH OLD KITTEN FOUND HIS WAY INTO THE SHELTER AS A STRAY AND NOW HE NEEDS YOU TO HELP HIM OUT!! BOBBLES is only 8 months old. This youngster is afraid and was given an EXPNOCHILD rating. But we all know that these ratings only measure the anxiety the kitty has in the scary shelter and not how they would behave once out. He may be a lost or abandoned pet. BOBBLES did allow handling but needs someone to give him a place to decompress and feel safe. He is only a kitten and with patience, you will have a wonderful pet. BOBBLES has only til NOON to be saved, so hurry and CONTACT A RESCUE NOW TO OFFER TO FOSTER OR ADOPT!!

10/28/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Bobbles was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. Reaction to assessor: Bobbles makes eye contact with the assessor. He is licking his lip and breathing heavily. Reaction when softly spoken to: Bobbles remains motionless with eyes focused on the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Bobbles remains neutral. Reaction to touch: Bobbles tolerates touch but has a tense body. He starts to shift away from contact. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Bobbles tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his or her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
