08/02/15 20:35 Litter Mates : Babs : A1046400 Betty : A1046402 Bloomie : A1046404 Bella : A1046405 Bloomie is a female gray tabby cat who was brought into ACC today as a stray along with her litter mates. Bloomie was being fed and cared for by the people in the neighborhood she was found in. Bloomie allowed herself to be transferred into a new carrier with no issues. Bloomie became nervous and would not allow herself to be collared or photographed, When an attempt was made to collar and photograph Bloomie she retreated further into her carrier and would not allow herself to be handled. Babs will need time to adjust to her new environment.

08/07/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Bloomie was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices she relaxed a little. I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. I was also able to pick her up and although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children. Reaction to assessor: eating at the front of cage, retreats when assessor approaches When spoken quietly: does not come to front , appears fearful Reaction to door cage opening: retreats Reaction to touch: ears flat, allows petting but prefers not to be touched Try picking cat up: Bloomie allows handling but remains tense and fearful Placement Determination: Experience no child
