no URI signs, no alopecia
mild dermatitis between shoulder blades with some flaky/crsuted skin (does NOT look like ringworm) – likely an allergic reaction to a topical treatment (such as flea tx)
no fleas seen. ears clean
abdomen palpates normally
female, no MGTs palpated
given FVRCP SQ over right front leg
given rabies vaccine SQ over right hind leg

BEHAVIOR:
Reaction to assessor: Bee Gee looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor.
Reaction to door opening: Bee Gee remains sitting upright by the front, alert with eyes wide open.
Reaction to touch: Bee Gee accepts the stroke, but hesitant with touch then slowly head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body.
Reaction to Being Picked up: She becomes antsy then jumps back into the cage.
Placement determination: Average
Bee Gee interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
