Urgent 9-15-2015 Manhattan

Previous | Next

**GONE 09/15/15** Trapped by an EXTERMINATOR and brought to the ACC! TOKYO, BELIZE and BARBADOS are young healthy cats who are terrified at the shelter, and who have NO understanding of what happened to them. Cats don’t understand property lines and this crew were just hanging out in a back yard when BOOM! they were trapped and brought to the ACC. All three have been given EXPNOCHILD ratings and all three are in dire straits tonight! TOKYO and BARBADOS are young ladies, BELIZE is a young gent, and ALL of them need a foster or adopter to save their lives, tonight!

09/13/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Barbados does not come to the front, but remains neutral inside her cage. Reaction when softly spoken to: Barbados starts to breathe rapidly. Reaction to cage door opening: Barbados remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Barbados sniffs the assessor’s hand, but was hesitant of touch. She remains in place for all petting, but starts to lip lick and blinks slowly. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Barbados tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
