BEHAVIOR
As per previous owner, B.J. has been socialized with children, cats, and dogs. He is relaxed, tolerant, and respectful when around them. He is gentle and well behaved when interacting with them. He was described as playful, confident, mellow, friendly, assertive, talkative, affectionate, and independent with a high activity level. He isn’t bothered when picked up or held and will follow his owner around the home. He was mainly described as attention seeking and outgoing.
Reaction to Assessor: B.J. was calm, relaxed, and friendly by the front.
Reaction when softly spoken to: B.J. rubs onto the cage door and reaches out with his paws.
Reaction to cage door opening: B.J. remains soft and relaxed.
Reaction to touch: B.J. meows, head-butts, and begins to purr.
Reaction to being picked up: B.J. remains soft and allows all handling.
Placement Determination: Beginner
B.J. interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat can go to a beginner home.
