**SAFE 11/25/15** AWESOME ASIA HAS SEEN TOO MUCH TIME ON THE STREETS……About 12 years old, ASIA is only 5 pounds and was dehydrated and had an embedded nail when found, in addition to some possible mouth problems….Now, after fluids and a couple good meals, ASIA is ready to be adopted!! She has a lovely BEGINNER rating and head-butts and purrs. And even sat in the assessor’s arms. PLEASE DON’T LET HER RESCUE FROM THE STREETS RESULT IN DEATH AT THE ACC….PLEASE APPLY TO FOSTER OR ADOPT HER NOW!!

Asia was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Asia was very social during intake and was rubbing her head against the cat carrier. When out of the carrier Asia head butted counselors hand and allowed all handling. Asia was very sweet and gentle. Reaction to assessor: Asia comes to the front of the cage – soliciting attention and rubbing against the cage front. Reaction when softly spoken to: Asia stays at the front – continues to solicit attention and rub against the cage front. Reaction to cage door opening: Asia remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Asia solicits petting and attention – rubbing against the assessor’s hand. Reaction to being picked up: Asia sits calmly in the assessor’s arms. Behavior Determination: Beginner Asia interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat can go to a beginner home.
