ART – A1041043
***GONE 06/27/15*** AMAZING GINGER BOY ART IS NEW HOPE RATED DUE TO HIS FEAR – AND WILL NOW DIE FOR IT – BUT WE KNOW THAT ANY CAT IS AFRAID IN THE SHELTER!! Not much is known about poor ART who is a 2 year old orange ginger boy that was brought in as a stray. He was meowing and crying in his carrier so we know he was afraid from the beginning. This poor cat did not receive any attention since being brought in and was warehoused for the euth list. ART is young and may be a very lost pet. ALL cats are afraid when stuffed into a tiny carrier and whisked away to another scary place where they are stuffed in a small cage where people are poking fake hands at them. CAN YOU BLAME ART??? THIS YOUNGSTER DESERVES A HOME AND A CHANCE TO LIVE AND BE A FUREVER KITTY – CONTACT A RESCUE IF YOU CAN HELP ART TONIGHT!! HE WILL DIE AT NOON WITHOUT RESCUE.

Notes: Art was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to was seeing during the evaluation. He seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment he was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. He has tried to bite and currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
