Medical Summary Sex: Male intact kitten Scan: Negative Estimated age: 3 months based on teeth Fleas: No flea dirt noted. S: Active on exam table (sleeping in cage), allows all handling O: BAR-H, BCS 4.5/9, MMs pink and moist EENT: No discharge OU, AU, nose. Clean teeth. PLNs: Not enlarged. H/L: Flat systolic murmur, PMI left base (high in armpit), grade 2/6. NSR. Eupnic, quiet lung sounds. Abd: Slightly distended abdomen, no pain on palpation, no masses palpated M/S/I: Amb x4. No lesions noted. UG: Male intact, testicles soft and symmetrical. A: 1. Heart murmur – R/O congenital heart disease vs.innocent murmur 2. Distended abdomen – R/O GI parasites Short-term prognosis: Good P: Administered 0.7 ml Panacur and 0.3 ml ponazuril PO during exam. Monitor heart murmur over the next few months and if not resolving, consider evaluation by a cardiologist. 1088
