08/15/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
08/15/15 12:08 Amadeus A1047965 is a 9yr old male white & orange tabby feline who was found near the finder’s home earlier today. The finder is a regular who brings in cats they feel wouldn’t “survive on their own in the street or need medical attention/care”. During intake Amadeus initially allowed to be scanned and taken a picture of then he fled off the table during his photo session and we were unable to collar him. Amadeus struggled to be placed into the carrier for transport but relaxed after a few minutes.

08/18/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Amadeus looks tense in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Amadeus remains crouched down on his cage bedding alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Amadeus retreats away from the assessor’s hand, but once touched ears go down to his side with a direct stare and began to lip lick in place. Placement determination: Experience / no child Amadeus tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
