SAFE 11/14/15 **STILL HERE! NEEDS PLACEMENT ASAP! Petite ABHI a gorgeous Bombay girl With Bladder Stones @ BACC
Abhi is one of the sweetest cats! She was lying down when I went to meet her and as soon as she saw me she got up and immediately began soliciting attention. Abhi loves being pet and really enjoyed all of the attention. Abhi has had some blood in her urine and our vets suspect she may have bladder stones. Abhi is going to need follow up vet care and a wonderful new home, please let us know if you can take her today!
A volunteer writes: This little girl had me fooled on several counts. First of all, she is such a petite little thing that I thought she was a kitten! When I realized that she is a bit older than I thought, I was surprised again, because she has energy of a cat half her age. What she has in quantity is personality, sitting at the kennel door and reaching out her paw to anyone who strolls by. And when you notice her, what you realize is how gorgeous she is, with thick and soft black fur that is just crying out to be stroked. This sweet girl needs a home to settle into, a family to play with and she’ll pay all that back in spades.

Abhi is an all-black 6 yrs. old female cat who was surrendered at ACC today. Abhi is suffering from urine problems and also has high calcium levels and she is spayed. She is described as being calm and affectionate.
Abhi has been socialized with children and other cats but has not been socialized with dogs at this time. When she is around children and cats she is relaxed respectful and tolerant. When she is interacting with them she is gentle well behaved and affectionate. She is an indoor cat who is litter trained and has a medium activity level. She is also described as being playful confident mellow friendly affectionate quiet and independent.
Abhi has never been given a bath at this time. She is not bothered when she is having her nails trimmed or when she is having her fur brushed. She is also not bothered when she is being picked up and held or disturbed from her sleep. She will struggle when she is being placed inside of a carrier. She uses clumping litter in a closed litter box. She also likes to play with balls string and stuffed toys and she will engage in chasing games. She uses a vertical and horizontal scratching post made out of cardboard. She will follow her owner around the house and stay in the same room with them. She will stay in the window sill and sleep there as well. She eats wet food twice a day and dry food once a day. She also likes to snack on mixed cat treats.
During the Intake process Abhi was calm and well behaved. She allowed herself to be collared and photographed with minimal effort. She also allowed herself to be transferred into a new carrier with no difficulty. She allowed herself to be carried and held and displayed no negative behaviors.
