**SAFE 05/28/15** Sheba Slept With Her Former Owner, But That Person’s Death Has Put Sheba In Grave Danger. Where is everyone for this scared but loving young lady? Sheba lost her spot in the world when her former owner passed away, and the building super had been stepping in….but that was only temporary help, and Sheba found herself at the ACC. She may be a little bit rattled in the wake of losing everything she loved, but she is friendly, healthy, and young enough to completely rebound! Sheba has a lifetime of unconditional love to offer some lucky new owner, but that person has got to step up for her tonight!

05/05/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
05/05/15 13:42 Sheba’s lived with an elderly woman. She followed her and spent all of her time with her. She was affectionate with her and slept with her at night. She used the litterbox. Her owner passed away 1 month ago. The super has been visiting weekly to feed her. She reports that she’s shy with new people but sweet and affectionate once she warms up to you. She allowed her to pick her up and bring her here in a carrier. Sheba allowed me to pick her up and place her in a kennel. She curled up in the back and allowed me to pet, scan, collar, and photograph her. She ate food we gave her. She was very easy to handle and didn’t resist/retreat/vocalize.

05/16/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Behavior on 05/16/15: Experience / no child Sheba immediately comes soliciting at the front of the cage. She head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. However, during the touch she seems to become overly aroused then began to meow whine, randomly hiss, and may attempt to gentle nip while she solicits attention. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children. Behavior on 05/08/15: Average Reaction to assessor: Sheba looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Sheba remains lying down on her cage bedding, alert with soft eyes. Reaction to touch: Sheba accepts the stroke, purrs in place and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: She calmy jumped back into her cage. Placement determination: Average
